It is rather needless to mention that smoking is extremely harmful not only for the person who smokes but also for the people surrounding him and especially for children. In fact, smoking in front of children is a big “NO”! The harm that is caused from second-hand smoke to young children and adults can develop into serious diseases throughout their lifetime. Kids who keep growing in front of a smoking parent are 3 times more likely to smoke themselves.

As there is growing popularity of smoking alternatives like vaping, you may feel interested in making the switch. However, make sure you go through reviews of customers from www.e-cigarettereviewsuk.co.uk so that you may get to know about the pros and cons of these devices. Have you ever wondered about the impact of vaping in front of children?

The vapor from vape mods – What does it comprise of?

E-cigarettes contain e-liquids which comprise of PG or Propylene Glycol, VG or Vegetable Glycerine, nicotine and other food flavourings (either natural or artificial). If you have gone through several tabloids, you must have read about the presence of other nasties but this is not true as the e-liquids are tested before they’re given off to consumers. The FDA has to check whether or not the liquids that they’re buying contain only the ingredients which are listed. People keep purchasing their liquids from trusted and reputable sources and hence there is no chance of being deceived.

What do studies reveal on e-cigarette vapour?

If you are thinking of making the switch, you must be eager to take a close look at the studies revealed on e-cigarette vapour. There have been studies which compare the aerosol from e-cigs against the smoke from conventional cigarettes. The key findings of these studies were as follows:

  • The e-cigarettes contain and deliver PG, VG, glycerine and water
  • The level of HPHCs or Harmful and Potentially Harmful Constituents in aerosol were there with air blanks
  • The nicotine content in aerosol was 85% lower than the smoke released by cigarettes
  • The cigarette smoke HPHCs was 1500 times higher than the HPHCs released from electronic cigarettes
  • There was no such contribution of tested HPHCs in electronic cigarettes

What does this conclude?

Well this concludes that vaping in front of kids causes much less harm to kids than tobacco cigarettes. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean that you’ll keep on vaping when kids are around as anything apart from fresh hair can cause harm to your kid’s developing lungs.
